About Us

Tom is the Founding Partner of DD|HA, a hotel and real estate   industry veteran with a career spanning over 30 years. Tom spent the first   years of his career traveling the U.S. while working in the hospitality   industry. It was this time that inspired his entrepreneurial spirit and   passion for hotels and real estate; eventually guiding him to HVS where he   spent 18 years studying hotels and advising investors on their hotel real estate. 

Since founding DD|HA in 2018, Tom has advised private and   institutional investors on complex debt and equity real estate transactions   across multiple sectors including hotel, residential and mixed-use. Presently, Tom focuses efforts on investing and raising capital for hospitality-driven   real estate developments that have late-stage approvals and/or unique entitlements.   

The breadth of his experience spans across acquisition, disposition, development, distressed assets, and debt and equity. As a broker, Tom has exclusively transacted over $200 million in hotel real estate and has advised on over $1.0 billion in transactional value. Tom is a licensed Broker in New York and Massachusetts and an adjunct professor at Boston University's School of Hospitality Administration. Tom lives in the Boston area with his wife and four children.
